Work starts on major A320 Woking Road junction upgradesFrom 25 February 2026, work begins to transform the Woodlands Road and Moorfield Road junctions on the A320 Woking Road as part of the wider regeneration plans. The Woodlands Road roundabout will be replaced with traffic lights. Moorfield Road will see new lanes added to improve traffic flow, especially towards the Slyfield Industrial Estate. New pedestrian crossings and upgraded footways will make walking and cycling safer.Both junctions will be upgraded together so traffic signals can be coordinated — helping to reduce congestion and improve journey reliability.Night works to remove the Woodlands Road roundabout start from 2 March for around six weeks, with overnight lane closures in place.The improvements aim to future-proof the road network, support local businesses and prepare for new homes and community facilities in the area.#Guildford#A320#TrafficUpdate#WeysideUrbanVillage
