19th May 2023: Traffic disruption in Oyster lane as Fire teams are still attending the fire that started last night.

On the Surrey Fire & Rescue Twitter feed at 10.36PM last night it read...We currently have ten pumps and an aerial ladder platform in attendance at a fire in a commercial unit on Oyster Lane, West Byfleet. Local residents should keep windows and doors closed, and we would ask you to please avoid the area to allow us to carry out our work safely.

This Friday morning there were clouds of smoke still soaring into the sky and visible from Addlestone and further at 9.OOam.
